Simon Hurley came out with a great stamp set, background stamp and stencil perfect for Birthdays and sweet treats with Ranger. What I appreciate about his sets is they can be mixed and matched for endless options.

Background Stamp as Focal

This entire card was make with this background stamp set. A few of the hats pop out to create a stamp of their own. I stamped three of them, colored them in and pop dotted them on a piece of paper I created with ink. I topped each hat with a little pom pom I had in my stash.

The Balloons Steal the Show

For the following cards I really wanted to showcase the balloons from this set. They were super easy to create because there was a stamp for the inside of the balloon which means I did not have to color it! I used this stamp set to create it! I added a little glossy accents to make the balloon shine!

Use a Stencil Instead of A Stamp

The Birthday cake stencil is awesome! The possibilities are endless. I created a fun card from just cardstock, ink and a stencil. See how in this video:
