I don’t know about you, but often I get caught up in buying the latest and greatest thing in the paper crafting industry. I end up with a pile of half used packages of embellishments and sticker sheets. Today I am sharing two layouts I did utilizing the bits and pieces I had in my stash.
I had a piece of glittered heart paper that I was never going to use. It was much to pretty to just get rid of, so I cut apart the hearts, layered them on pop dots and used them as embellishments. I wanted to keep the kid vibe to it and opted to hand cut the hearts instead of running them through my Brothers Scan n Cut.
Left over puffy rainbow stickers and little brads finish it off. The skating rink had a disco decor going on, so I mimicked the colors and retro vibe on the layout.
Birthday layouts are a struggle for me. I am not sure why, but I do not enjoy doing them like I do others. Naturally, I do not have a lot of Birthday things in my stash. For this layout I stamped the title and just used left over paper and stickers. To make the stickers pop I used pop dots on the back of them after I had powdered them to remove the sticky. I finished the layout off with Nuvo drops.
I confess that I really wanted to just get these pictures in the album. My intention was not to enjoy the process — just to get them done, but I did!
Until next time ~ Happy Crafting!
