Last year was tough completing the very last page for my son’s school album because he was graduating. This year has proven no easier. It is my daughter’s last year of high school and she will be leaving home in the fall for college. My youngest has four more years of school left, but it will go by so quick.
There was lots of left over Harry Potter paper and I decided to use it for this year’s back to school pages. This is the first year that I did not use a sketch much less the same design on each layout.
By mating each piece of pattern paper and picture with black cardstock it gave the layout a cohesive look that is not so busy. The multitude of patterns allows for little embellishment which is a good thing for these types of albums.
The Inline Alphabet stamp set from Close to My Heart is perfect for school layouts!
I took a little stroll down memory lane by sharing a walk thru of her album. Not only has she grown, but so has the trees she stood in front of yearly and the car behind her is not the family car. It is her car.
Until next time ~ Happy Crafting!
