I am so excited! Today is the Christmas Blog Hop with some wonderful designers. I am sharing a fun countdown I made for the hop and can’t wait to see what everyone else has created!
Christmas Countdown projects are so much fun! My Mom teaches Preschool and the children are extremely excited for Christmas. Rita Barakat’s whimsical stamps and sweet little fairies are the perfect combination for a countdown calendar for her class.
Paint a substrate green. I used 7 gypsy Art Board and Plaid Paint in Green
Take a napkin and remove the white layer. Using Clear Gesso adhere napkin to the board. I used Prima, but I like this one
Top it off with Color Shift in Green and a few fun confetti pieces.
Using a slow drying pigmented ink stamp images and emboss with Fairy Wings. Both can be found here
Find the rest of your supplies and finish canvas. The sweet little fairy is by Rita Barakat. Canvas Corp Brands has great chalkboard sheets and Christmas pattern Paper. Tonic Studios has a wonderful selection of glitter and clear drops.
Using craft foam sheets to adhere all the elements to the canvas, set aside to dry.
Don’t you just love those die cuts? They are magical. I like how you added candy images. So cute
